Our Obligation
The Trade Union (Facility Time Publication Requirements) Regulations 2017 came into force on 1 April 2017.
The Regulations place a legislative requirement on relevant public sector employers, including HEIs in England and Scotland, to collate and publish a range of data on the amount and cost of facility time within their organisation on an annual basis.

In order to comply with The Trade Union Regulation (2017), UWS publishes details of the number of employees engaged in trade union activites, the percentage of their time that is spent on trade union activities, and the actual cost associated with trade union activites. This document provides details for the period 01 April 2022 - 31 March 2023.
