At UWS, Welcome and Induction activities are scheduled to run alongside the start of each academic term.
Welcome and induction 2023/24
Each Academic Year has three terms - Term 1, 2 and 3, respectively. These begin in September, January and May each year, and the start dates are listed on the webpage below:

Welcome Festival
During the week starting Monday 25 September, our Welcome Festival will take at our London campus - giving you the perfect opportunity to have fun with your classmates.
Throughout the week, the programme will offer a range of activities, including vibrant performances, games (including giant Jenga), a Freshers' Fair - organised by our award-winning Students' Union - delicious food, and much more.

SCHOOL INDUCTION ACTIVITIES - TERM 1 (SEPTEMBER)

Support with online platforms
All UWS students are provided with a Microsoft Office365 account. This includes your student email account and access to the full range of Microsoft software and applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive and much more. You can access this via the UWS Student App.
You can find advice on how to use Teams on the Microsoft support website and Zoom through their support site.
We’ve also created a helpful video on best practice for using Microsoft Teams to attend your online lectures.
