Open days

Our open days and information sessions are a really good way to see what it’s like to live and study at UWS.

We hold open days and information sessions throughout the year which are aimed at students considering an undergraduate, postgraduate or postgraduate research degree at UWS.

Open days are a great way to:

  • Hear from staff and students about life and study at UWS
  • Get help with your application
  • Learn more about funding and financial support
  • See our facilities for yourself – from lecture halls and labs to our sport and students’ unions and student accommodation
  • Find out more about work placements, learning a language or study abroad opportunities

Other ways to visit UWS

There are a number of ways that you can arrange to visit us on campus.

Student-led Campus Tours

Our campus tours are ideal for students who want to find out more about our courses, life at the University and how to apply for our undergraduate, postgraduate or research degrees. They are ideal if you are unable to attend an Open Day. Family and friends are also welcome.

Our tours run most weeks throughout the year on Wednesday afternoons

At certain times of the year other times and days may be offered.
Campus Tours are available on our 4 Scottish Campuses.

London Campus

If you would like to request a tour of our London campus, please email info.london@uws.ac.uk.

On-the-day Tours

Our Campus Tours take approximately 30 minutes.

You'll be guided around by one of our Student Guides, so it's a chance to quiz them about their own UWS experience. The Student Guide will be able to answer your questions about our courses and signpost you to more information or contacts at the University.  For certain courses, we can also arrange a chat with the programme leader, so that you can ask more in-depth questions about your programme.

You'll also get an idea of the location of our residences, student services and academic facilities. The tour will also include a visit to our show flat.

Book a Campus Tour

Our tours are free but you must book to attend.
