Our Open Days and information sessions are a good way to see what it’s like to study at UWS, and explore the options available if you’re considering student accommodation.
We hold Open Days and information sessions throughout the year. They're aimed at students considering an undergraduate, postgraduate or postgraduate research degree at UWS.
Open Days are a great way to:
- Hear from staff and students about life and study at UWS
- Get help with your application
- Learn more about funding and financial support
- See our facilities for yourself – from lecture theatres and labs to our student accommodation, sport facilities and award-winning students' union
- Find out more about work placements, learning a language or study abroad opportunities
Which UWS Open Day is best to attend?
Our programmes are taught across four Scottish campuses in Paisley, Lanarkshire, Ayr and Dumfries. Depending on the course you're looking to study, there may be a campus Open Day that's more useful for you to attend.

Should I attend Dumfries Campus Open Day?
Taking place in our brand new campus, the Dumfries Campus Open Day is a chance to find out more about UWS study options in Dumfries including Childhood Studies, Computing Science, Adult Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and Social Work.

Subject showcase events

Join us at our undergraduate Subject Showcase events taking place in November 2024.
These events give you the perfect opportunity to get in-person experience of your subject and course of choice before the UCAS application deadline on 29 January 2025. We’ll be offering tours, interactive activities and much more to let you see what studying at UWS is really like.
