Join us for the UWS School & College Advisors Conference — a valuable networking and professional development event for school and college professionals, or those involved in advising on higher education options. This event is also ideal for professionals from Skills Development Scotland, Local Authorities, and other organisations supporting students considering Higher Education.
This conference offers an excellent opportunity to connect with peers, gain valuable insights, and explore how UWS can support students on their path to Higher Education.
Our four academic schools will showcase their offering through workshops, and there will be other sessions exploring the areas below:

- Widening participation at UWS, including our UWS Foundation Academy
- Contextual admissions
- Graduate Apprenticeship programmes
- Student Success Model
- Best of all, this conference is free to attend, and lunch will be provided! Please let us know of any dietary requirements when registering.

Conference Travel Contribution
Attendees will have the option of claiming up to £50 towards the cost of their own individual travel to our UWS School & College Advisor Conference.
You’ll be able to claim a travel contribution after attending the conference and will receive a link to our application form via email.
The amount that you will receive will depend on the distance from your home address and the campus where you have an offer of study.
The distance will be calculated using your home address on your application using Google Maps.

- 0-30 miles from Paisley Campus: £20 contribution
- 31 miles + from Paisley Campus: £50 contribution
