Four prominent figures will be celebrated at University of the West of Scotland’s winter graduations next week.

Hugh C Farrell, Kate Allum, Professor Evelyn Telfer CBE and Nicola Rosa will be given Honorary Doctorates as part of the University’s winter graduation ceremonies, running from Monday 9 – Saturday 14 November.

  • Hugh C Farrell, Scottish cultural heritage educator and Robert Burns ambassador. Tuesday 10 November at 10.30am.

  • Kate Allum, senior corporate leader and former Chair of Court at UWS. Wednesday 11 November at 2.30pm.

  • Professor Evelyn Telfer CBE, pioneering reproductive biologist. Thursday 12 November at 10.30am.

  • Nicola ‘Nick’ Rosa, global technology innovation leader and digital transformation strategist. Friday 13 November at 2pm.

Professor James Miller, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of UWS, said: “Graduation is always a special and memorable occasion for the University, providing an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the hard work, determination and success of our students.
