Full Body Kinematic Assessment
Includes three dimensional kinematic measurements of the joints of the upper and lower limbs.
Service details
A full body kinematic assessment will provide you with key biomechanical information necessary to enable you plan your rehabilitation or training regime more effectively. Joint angle, joint range of motion, velocity and acceleration measurements would be provided as outcome measures with biomechanical highlights of strengths and weaknesses.
This biomechanical assessment would involve you performing a functional activity (such as walking, stair ascent and descent, sit-to-stand, stand-to-sit, sit-to-walk etc) or performing a specific sport (such as running, golfing etc).
Retroreflective markers will be placed on your joints which will be tracked using a three dimensional motion capture system.
After your assessment, you will be provided with a detailed written report, with further verbal feedback if required.
Full Body Electromyography (EMG) Assessment
Includes muscles activity measurements of the upper limb, lower limb and trunk using surface electrodes and wireless EMG technology
Service details
A full body electromyographic assessment will provide you with key biomechanical information about the functionality of the muscles in response to functional activities of daily living or in response to the performance a sport related activity. Highlights in muscles activity deficits and strengths will become apparent. This information could be used as a guide to improving your training and rehabilitation regimes.
This EMG assessment would involve placing surface electrodes on your muscles of interest. You will then be required to perform a functional activity (such as walking, stair ascent and descent, sit-to-stand, stand-to-sit, sit-to-walk etc) or perform a specific sport related activity (such as running, golfing etc) or perform a routine / prescribed exercise.
The data acquired will be processed with the muscle activity information expressed as a percentage of your maximum voluntary contraction.
After your assessment, you will be provided with a detailed written report, with further verbal feedback if required.
Full Body Kinetic Assessment
Includes ground reaction force measurements, centre of pressure measurements and three dimensional kinetic measurements of the joints of the upper and lower limbs.

Two Dimensional High Speed Video Assessment
Includes two dimensional high speed motion capture of functional and/or sport related activities.
Book High Speed Video Assessment
Service details
A two dimensional high speed video assessment will provide you with temporal and spatial output measures during the performance of a functional activity such as gait and/or sport related activities such as golf and running. An optional two dimensional high speed video recording would be made available if required.
This two dimensional biomechanical assessment would involve you performing either a walking or running activity on a treadmill (or on a non-motorised ground surface).
After your assessment you will be provided with a detailed written report, with further verbal feedback if required.
