About the programme

The MSc Finance with Data Analytics offers a comprehensive and applied postgraduate education that integrates core finance knowledge with advanced data analytics skills.

The course includes key finance modules such as Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Risk Management, Money, Banking and the Financial System, and Strategic Financial Management and Modelling, alongside data analytics modules including Data Analysis for Finance, and Data Visualisation and Business Intelligence.

Designed to be completed in one year over three terms of study, the MSc is structured to begin with foundational concepts before progressing to more advanced and complex applications, making it accessible to students from business, finance, and other disciplines. Students gain hands-on experience using industry-standard tools such as R, Tableau, Excel, and Power BI, and complete a Research Project in Finance and Data Analytics, applying analytical techniques to address real-world financial challenges.
