Cutting-edge research
Here’s just some of the work we’re currently involved in, to better our understanding of the world around us:
- Researchers are working towards a breakthrough in managing fish health with the development of a biochemical monitoring tool that could transform the global aqua-culture sector
- Creating a viable preventative treatment for Acanthamoeba Keratitis – a devastating eye condition which affects millions of people each year
- Researchers have identified a link between noisy road traffic with air pollutants and an increased chance of hypertension – a top risk factor for heart attack and stroke
