Why study Criminology & Psychology
Criminology explores the causes of crime and how societies respond to it. Students examine key issues such as policing, crime prevention, rehabilitation and punishment, while developing valuable research, analytical and critical thinking skills. This prepares graduates for careers across the criminal justice sector, policy, research and related fields.
Psychology students explore areas including social, developmental, cognitive and biological psychology, while gaining strong research and problem-solving skills. The degree provides a foundation for further training in psychology and a wide range of careers where understanding people is essential.
