Travel Contribution 2026 - Summer Open Days
Offer-holders will have the option of claiming up to £50 towards the cost of their own individual travel to our on-campus Summer Open Days. You’ll be able to claim a travel contribution after attending your offer-holder event and will receive a link to our application form via email.
The amount that you will receive will depend on the distance from your home address and the campus where you have an offer of study. The distance will be calculated using your home address on your application using Google Maps.
- 0-50 miles from Campus - £15 travel contribution
- 51-100 miles from Campus - £20 travel contribution
- 101-150 miles from Campus - £30 travel contribution
- 151+ miles from Campus - £50 travel contribution
Eligibility criteria
- Book to attend one of our Summer Open Days. Bookings need to be made by the start time of the event that you are attending
- Attend one of the UWS on-campus Summer Open Day events noted above
- Check-in on arrival with our staff to confirm your attendance
- Complete the travel contribution application form by the deadline provided
Process
Complete the travel contribution application form by the campus deadline date. You’ll receive the application form by email after attending the Offer-Holder Day.
- Paisley – Saturday 30 May = Sunday 14 June 2026
- Lanarkshire – Saturday 6 June = Sunday 21 June 2026
- Ayr – Saturday 13 June = Sunday 28 June 2026
