Our Subject Showcase - Ayr Campus gives you the perfect opportunity to get in-person experience of your subject and course of choice before the UCAS application deadline on 14 January 2026. You will get to experience what studying at UWS is really like, take part in some hands-on activities, chat to our academics and current students, and ask any questions you have.
We look forward to welcoming you to our Undergraduate Subject Showcase - Ayr Campus. Parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis.

This session offers key insights into studying at UWS, covering everything from UCAS applications and late entry options to the wide range of student support services available.

Our Academic Schools will be hosting a variety of programme-specific talks, guided tours of our incredible facilities, sample lectures, and hands on demonstrations. These have all been designed to allow you to delve deeper into your chosen subject area and give you a true taste of what studying at UWS is like.

Students will have the opportunity to take part in a short taster session, getting the chance to experience the kinds of discussions and topics we cover on BA Commercial Music. This will be followed by a short tour of our studios and creative facilities.Â

Learn about the Performance programme by taking part in interactive sessions and see current students showcase their performing skills. There will also be an opportunity to tour the facilities and talk to current students and staff.

Using smartphones and iPads, candidates will capture images and video from around and on campus to create a group oriented montage of still and moving images, exploring points of interest to create a narrative structure that could be applied to a piece of graphic art, such as a poster, comic or moving image artefact.
