Overview
The mission of the Institute for Sustainable Engineering and Energy (ISEE) is to conduct research and engage in public and commercial activity around sustainable engineering and energy (SEE), as well as allied areas which will deliver to society value and positive impact. This core research direction for ISEE is challenge-led and, therefore, strategically aligned to the global challenges of our time. This allows ISEE to carve out niche areas to seize and occupy the white space of the new underpinning science and technology. Ultimately, the distinctiveness of ISEE’s signature research portfolio guarantees the sustained momentum needed to develop world leading competences.
ISEE's VISION
ISEE’s vision is to hold a prominent position on the global stage as the foremost agenda setting and policy influencing body for SEE science and technology. Its very distinctiveness and groundbreaking capabilities make it the partner of choice for both academia and industry alike, facilitating and directing research in the field at both fundamental and applied levels.
