What qualifications do you need? 

We welcome Scottish, UK and international students and consider all applicants on an individual basis.

Scottish Highers 

  • Standard Entry Requirements: BCCC (90 UCAS Tariff points) plus National 5 Maths and English at C or above
  • Minimum Entry Requirements: CCC (63 UCAS Tariff points) plus National 5 English and Maths at C or above
  • Alternative Minimum Entry Requirements: CC (42 UCAS Tariff points), plus National 5 English and Maths at Grade C or above, PLUS successful completion of one of the following:
    • UWS Foundation Academy
    • Foundation Apprenticeship
    • UWS Next Steps to University module
    • Top-Up
    • LEAPS

A Levels

  • CCD (88 UCAS Tarrif points) plus GCSE English and Maths at C/5 or above

T Levels

  • Full T Level with Grade P (A*-C) (96 Tariff points) plus GCSE English and Maths at C/5 or above

Irish Leaving Certificate

  • H3H3H3H4 plus Maths and English at Ordinary Level

Foundation Apprenticeship/Modern Apprenticeship

HNC/D

  • Level of entry and/or credit awarded being subject to the content of the programme

Scottish Advanced Highers

  • CCD (112 UCAS Tariff points) including Maths and English

A Levels

  • BBC including Maths and English (112 UCAS Tariff points)

International Baccalaureate

  • 28 points including Maths and English

SQA HNC/BTEC Level 4 HNC

  • Town Planning, Construction Management, Environmental Management, Construction and the Built Environment, Quantity Surveying, Travel and Tourism, or Social Sciences. No specific grade is required for the graded unit. All other named qualifications referred to Programme Leader for review.  

BTEC Extended Diploma

  • DDM

SQA HND/BTEC Level 5 HND

  • Town Planning, Construction Management, Environmental Management, Construction and the Built Environment, Quantity Surveying, Travel and Tourism, or Social Sciences. No specific grade is required for the graded unit. All other named qualifications referred to Programme Leader for review.
