OVERVIEW
The Transformative Enterprise Research Group (TERG) conducts impactful, interdisciplinary research focusing on enterprise and entrepreneurship across industry, education, and policy.
TERG’s goal is to drive knowledge, practice, and policy changes to support economic and societal transformation. TERG's work is structured around three core themes: SME Start-up, Sustainability & Growth, focusing on challenges and strategies for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including productivity, innovation, and digital transformation; Enterprise & Policy, examining the intersection of enterprise with regional, national, and international policy, including areas like procurement and skills development; and, Entrepreneurial Practice & Skills, investigating creativity, idea generation, and the development of enterprising skills through research-informed enterprise education.
The group fosters a rich research culture, comprising of a collaborative community of entrepreneurship researchers, enterprise educators, PhD students, and industry leaders. This community approach ensures work is academically responsive, timely, and provides meaningful, practical solutions for key stakeholders.
