ABOUT
Our Men’s Basketball programme have grown massively in recent years, with a meteoric rise to the top of Scottish University Basketball, playing in BUCS Tier 1. This rise has seen them claim multiple BUCS League titles and Conference Cups as well as claiming the inaugural Scottish National Championship. This growth has also seen new opportunities arise, with the introduction of the clubs development pathway through our Men’s 2nd team. Our Basketball clubs offers development opportunities for new or aspiring players as well as performance opportunities for domestic and international athletes.
Training Details
Tuesday, 7-9pm, Emirates Arena; Emirates Arena — Glasgow Life
- Our 1st Team performance sessions are invite only following trials at the start of the season
- Our 2nd Team Development sessions are open to all UWS students, regardless of experience. These sessions take place on Tuesdays at the Emirates Arena, 7-9pm.
Competitions
Our Men’s 1st Team compete in BUCS Tier 1, the Scottish Student Basketball National Championship and BUCS National Trophy. Our Men’s 2nd Team compete in BUCS Tier 4 and the BUCS Scottish Conference Cup.
