Team UWS is always looking to grow and develop new opportunities for students on campus. If you are interested in introducing something new to Team UWS, check out our New Club Starter process below.
- Check whether Team UWS already has your sport on offer, there is no need to start again, get involved!
- Make sure starting a club is right for you. It can be very rewarding to start and manage a sports club whilst at University. However, it does require commitment and passion for the sport to fulfil all the criteria presented below. You will be required to start a committee for the club so it would be helpful for you to have other students who are passionate about starting the club to help you.
- Gather student interest – we require sufficient interest to start a club, get your friends involved or speak to students on campus. You will need their Banner numbers to record within the application form.
- You’re good to go! Time to think about what your club will need and complete our New Club Starter form. A member of Team UWS staff will be in touch with you to discuss the next steps.
