Chinyere Adeniyi-Alade
Chinyere is the Chief Executive Officer of Grampian Credit Union, a position she has held since 2016 after progressing through a range of roles since joining the organisation in 2006. With leadership experience spanning multiple sectors, she brings strategic insight, operational expertise, and a strong commitment to advancing financial inclusion and delivering meaningful outcomes for communities.
She also serves as Chair of ACE Credit Union Services (a credit union Trade Association), having been a member of its Board for several years. With her collaborative leadership style, Chinyere has led initiatives that have driven sustainable growth, strengthened organisational performance, improved operational efficiency, and making a lasting contribution to the credit union sector.
Beyond her executive responsibilities, Chinyere has an extensive record of public and voluntary service. She is a Community Councillor, Trustee of her local Citizens Advice Bureau, Chairing Panel Member with Scotland's Children's Hearings System, Street Pastor, and serves on the welcome and worship teams at her local church. She is also the founder and convener of a community group that supports women experiencing challenges in their marriages.
Chinyere is passionate about using her skills and experience to strengthen organisations, support communities towards achieving positive outcomes. Her leadership is shaped by a commitment to collaboration, integrity, and service.
She is married with three children. Her Christian faith underpins her commitment to leadership, service, and supporting others in both her professional and community roles.
