Colin Howden

Colin Howden is a Head of Audit at Liverpool Victoria (LV=) in the financial services sector, having joined them in 2021, and is a member of the LV= Internal Audit and LV= wide Senior Leadership Teams. He has worked in internal audit and risk advisory roles since 2004, in organisations such as Grant Thornton, TSB Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Morgan Stanley Card Services and BBA Aviation plc. He has an LLB Honours degree from the University of Glasgow and is also a Chartered Accountant, qualifying in 2002 through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) while at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
 
Colin is a former Chair of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)’s Scottish Volunteer Committee and continues to be a proactive member of the Committee, which he joined in 2018. He is also a mentor at LV= and on the IIA’s Global Emerging Leaders Program, and he is a member of the LV= multi-cultural Respect network.”
