Attendance Monitoring
Arrangements for all UWS students
From the start of Academic Session 2026/27, UWS will be introducing AttendMe, a new attendance monitoring app designed to make checking in to your classes simple, quick and convenient.
Whether you are joining UWS for the first time or returning as a continuing student, AttendMe will provide a consistent way to record your in class attendance across the University.
Regular attendance is an important part of student success. Being present and engaged in your learning helps you get the most from your studies and allows the University to offer support when it is needed.

AttendMe is a mobile app that allows you to check in to your timetabled classes using your smartphone. When you arrive for a class, you'll be able to record your attendance quickly and easily through the app.
Further guidance on downloading, setting up and using AttendMe will be provided before teaching begins.
If you are a returning student, AttendMe may be different from attendance processes you have used previously at UWS.
You no longer need to scan in when you arrive on campus as your attendance will now be captured during your classes. We recognise that this is a change and will provide clear guidance and support to help you become familiar with the new system before the start of term.
