School, College and Careers Advisors Support
At UWS, we understand the importance of School, College and Careers Advisors guiding prospective students towards higher education destinations. We want to make sure that you have all the information you need to support your students in the next steps of their education journey.
Student Recruitment Teams
Here at UWS, we have dedicated student recruitment teams who will work with you to support your students. They can explore bespoke activities and support and tailor content to really engage with your students.
Events
The recruitment teams attend many different events throughout the UK as well as hosting events on our campus. This includes school/college careers fairs, UCAS Exhibitions and much more. These events are a great way to meet the team and ask any questions you may have about studying at UWS.

We teach over 60 undergraduate degree programmes here at UWS. This includes a wide range subjects including Midwifery, Engineering, Creative Industries and so much more. Our course search page provides a full breakdown of each programme as well as detailed information on our entry requirements. You can even download a personalised digital prospectus.
Fees and Funding
All undergraduate tuition fees are published on each individual course web entry. Details are provided for Scottish, UK (English, Welsh and Northern Irish), Republic of Ireland and all other international (all other EU and non-EU) students for full-time, and part-time (where appropriate) study at any of our campuses (or online where, and if, appropriate). There is a great deal of financial support available to help students meet the cost of their study including government loans, scholarships and bursaries. The Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) can provide loans and bursaries to help with the costs of studying at university. You can find out more information and if you are eligible on the SAAS website
Student Life and Support
At UWS, we are passionate about life outside our students’ academic study and for most subjects, Wednesday afternoons are free from classes to encourage students to get involved in all sorts of university activities, whether that be playing for one of our sports teams, joining a society or meeting up with fellow students to relax in our union spaces.
We also pride ourselves on supporting our students physical and mental wellbeing and encourage our students to make use of our amazing support teams throughout their time at UWS. This includes free gym access, counselling services, money advice, post-university careers advice, disability support and so much more!
CPD Opportunities
UWS delivers a wide range of professional short courses across the UK and internationally – whether delivered face-to-face on-campus or in-company, blended or online, they are all tailor-made to enable organisations and their people to develop and enhance professional knowledge and skills in an ever-changing world of work.
